Rules and Expectations
We follow the good conduct program, where a student earns a green slip or “Way to Go!” (and a ballot in a monthly draw for a prize) for behaviour that goes above and beyond our school expectations. A student receives an amber or “Caution” for behaviour that is not in line with our expectations, and a red slip or “Stop” for behaviour that is violent or aggressive. Ambers are followed up by communication by me in the form of an email, note home, or phone call. Reds are followed up by a phone call from the school.
In Room 158, we have decided that all students are to:
1. Be Kind - Use school appropriate words and tone of voice.
2. Be Responsible - Clean up after yourself and take care of your materials.
3. Respect Others - Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself and stay in your own space.
4. Follow Directions - The first time without defiance or arguing.
